The news this time comes from Cindy Fatikasari and Tengku Firmansyah. If there are no obstacles following Eid in 2024, they will move to Kanda.
Both of them have also received permission to remain there. This was expressed by both of them when they met at the Pagi Pagi Ambyar studio, Trans TV, South Jakarta.
“God willing, we want to move to Canada following Eid. We will leave, God willing, April 16, if there are no obstacles,” said Cindy Fatikasari, Thursday (7/3/2024).
Choosing to move to Canada was not without reason for the two couples who have been married for decades. This is because his son really wants to move to Canada and continue his education there.
“Because these guys said from high school that they wanted to study in Canada, they already said what they wanted, so thank God, we granted it,” explained Cindy Fatikasari.
Tengku Firmansyah said that initially only his children wanted to live there. But as parents, this couple feels they have a responsibility to ensure that their children’s religion and beliefs remain on the right track.
“If the children have received permission to stay, it will take a long time because we only registered them. But we feel we have a responsibility as parents, especially since the son will later become a priest in the family, so we feel we have to stay accompany him so that his faith and morals remain on track,” explained Tengku Firmansyah.
The couple initially did not know if their request for permission to remain would be approved. They admitted they were shocked when they got this news.
“So, we have been registering since 3 years ago, following we didn’t get any news, we thought it would be sincere, but it seems like we didn’t get it, huh? Eh, it turns out it’s really only recently that we were told that we got it and thank God, yes, it’s the way of Allah SWT that must be done to accompany children, right? we do it,” continued Cindy Fatikasari.
