“Moving Electric”: Today payments of 3.6 million euros to 600 beneficiaries 2024-07-28 12:30:05

The credits – which are in full development – concern new subsidies for natural and legal persons in the “Move Electric II”, “Move Electric III” and “Green Taxis” programs for the purchase of electric vehicles.

In particular, today, July 26, with the 19th relevant credit approval decision, the accounts of 600 beneficiaries of the “Move Electric II” program will be credited with the amount of 3,646,084.79 euros. Of these, the amount of 985,061.17 euros concerns 389 natural persons. In total, 751 electric vehicles will be subsidized.

Since November 2023, YPOME has paid subsidies totaling 35,213,773.79 euros to 9,811 beneficiaries for the purchase or lease of an electric vehicle. In total, since the start of the Program, in July 2022, 40,587,396.97 euros have been paid.

Subsequent payments

At the same time, on August 2, with the 1st relevant credit approval decision, the accounts of 30 beneficiaries of the “Move Electric III” program will be credited with the amount of 142,994.57 euros.

In addition, on July 17, an amount of 145,638.90 euros was credited to 8 beneficiaries, which concerns 7 electric taxis. Since the start of the program and with the completion of the 4th payment, 42 purely electric taxis have been paid with a total subsidy of 889,930.54 euros. At the same time, 42 old, polluting vehicles have been withdrawn and destroyed.

It is worth noting that the program “Moving Electric III” with a total budget of 33 million euros will be in the air by next year in April, through which citizens will be able to receive a subsidy of up to 11,000 euros. In fact, the subsidy is increased by 1,000 euros for people with disabilities, those with many children, as well as young people up to 29 years old.
