Movie style car parked on a busy road and shot | Delhi Subhash Nagar Firing

New Delhi: A car was stopped in a cinema style on a busy road and a shot was fired at the brothers. The incident took place at Subhash Nagar in west Delhi on Saturday evening. Witnesses say he was shot at least 10 times.

Ajay Chaudhary, former chairman of Keshopur Mandi (Market) in Delhi, and his brother Jassa Chaudhary were attacked. Both were admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

At the same time, it is not clear who the perpetrators are. Police said they were trying to identify them from the CCTV footage.

Chaudhary lived with his family in Tihar village. Police say the two brothers were on their way to the hospital on Saturday evening to visit a relative. When they reached the busy Subhash Nagar intersection, three persons opened fire on the car.

Nearby people escaped after the shooting. Eyewitnesses said that the cars that came after them suddenly took Uturn and tried to escape from the spot. Police said the car in which the Chaudhary brothers were traveling tried to escape by taking a U-turn ahead and the assailants fired at them from behind. The attackers escaped shortly after the attack. Efforts are on to nab them, police said.
