In recent decades, Sandra Bullock (57) has appeared in blockbusters such as “Speed”, “Gravity” and most recently in the Netflix hits “Bird Box” and “The Unforgivable”. Now the movie star, who is one of Hollywood’s highest paid, wants to take a break and stop appearing in front of the camera for the time being.
She doesn’t know how long she won’t be doing more films, Bullock says in a TV interview. At the moment she wants to stay in the place “that makes me happiest”. And that is her home with the children Louis (12) and Laila (10), whom she adopted in 2010 and 2012 respectively. “I take my job very seriously when I’m at work,” Bullock continued. Then she is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But now she would rather be with her family 24 hours a day, including photographer Bryan Randall (55), with whom she has been in a relationship since 2015.
Several years break
The hiatus might last several years, Bullock says. She will probably only step in front of the camera once more when her children are 16 or 17-year-old teenagers. In the meantime, she intends to fulfill her little ones’ every wish and work through her “social calendar”.
