Shane Nigam is talking regarding the reviews coming to the movies. The actor says that it is wrong to say that you don’t like a movie, but you can’t force it.
Shane says that when 10 people say bad things regarding a movie, everyone else has a tendency to agree, and the 11th person understands the situation and feels less inclined to comment on it. Shane Nigam was speaking in an interview given to Variety Media.
‘Everyone’s interests are different. There will be mixed interests for the film. It’s okay to say you don’t like it. But it cannot be imposed.
There will be people who like watching a movie. There may be people who may like it if they see it sometimes. But if they go in with a prejudice following hearing the criticisms, they may not like the movie.
When ten people say it, everyone else has a tendency to say it too. Because that’s how society has designed us. When listening to ten people, the eleventh person is less inclined to understand the status quo and comment on it.
If so, people have not celebrated it much. Sometimes whatever those ten people say is right or wrong, the eleventh person seems to say the same thing.
So I think this review system is good to some extent. But beyond that limit, it doesn’t feel healthy. I don’t think it comes down to quoting the movie,’ says Shane Nigam.
Meanwhile, ‘Vela’ is a film starring Sunny Wayne and Shane Nigam in lead roles. The film is released in crime drama genre and is directed by debutant Shyam Shashi. ‘Vela’ will hit the theaters on November 10.
