The emotional sequence of this Miss France 2023 evening. After seventeen years of good and loyal service, Sylvie Tellier is leaving the management of the competition for a new professional adventure. His speech touched the heart. Here it is in full.

“This year marks the beginning of a new professional adventure for me. I turn the page of the Miss France book by leaving the general management of the Miss France company. I obviously wish a lot of success to Alexia Laroche-Joubert and Cindy Fabre in the pursuit of this magnificent adventure that is Miss France. I would also like to warmly thank Geneviève de Fontenay, because I know she is watching us. I learned a lot from her and really, I embrace her very much. My thoughts also go to the Miss France teams, without whom nothing would have been possible.

Leading Miss France is more than a job, it’s a passion. I obviously thank all the Miss France that I accompanied from the coronation of Alexandra Rosenfeld to Diane Leyre. They are the pride of the organization and I have an immense tenderness for each of them.

I also wanted to thank all the French people. I have a thought for all those I have met during my travels in the smallest corners of our beautiful country. I will continue to commit myself to promoting France, French companies and their know-how. I would also like to thank Jean-Pierre (Foucault), because you had a benevolence towards me during all these years when I had the chance to be by your side. And you know that I will really miss you.

I also have a thought this evening, and I know you do too, for Jean-Pierre Pernaut and his family. We were lucky to have him here with us last year. And he helped me so much to make this competition shine. Finally, I would like to address my (moved) family. They’re all here in the building tonight for the first time. I have made many sacrifices and you have always supported me. You allowed me to be a girl, a woman. An accomplished mother. Maybe one day I will be in your place to encourage my daughter Margot in this magnificent adventure, Miss France.

You have all changed my life and I am infinitely grateful to you. The little girl that I was, she was not at all predestined to lead this beautiful company of French heritage. I say this evening to young French men and women: everything is possible in life, you just have to believe in yourself.
