Clowns, acrobats and street artists are preparing to invade the streets of Mouscron for the first weekend of October ! The Saturday, Mouscron residents party at Les Hurlus with parades of giants, and folk processions.
The next day is the HurlusBerlus Street Arts Festival who settles for a second time in the border town. In the past, parks, public squares and alleys were the scene of the exploits of artists of all kinds. Faithful to ancestral traditions, dMany circus shows are planned throughout the city with a hundred artists to be found in the aisles. From the Grand Place, to the landscaped park, passing by the natural amphitheater behind the Cultural Center, and the gardens of the Folklore Museum, there is no shortage of places to carry out the many tours on the program. LTheir performances then marry the heritage of the region and offer passers-by an enchanted, whimsical, funny or even moving walk.
There are eight stages in total, ready to welcome acrobats, jugglers, acrobats, acrobats, contortionists, tightrope walkers, tightrope walkers et 16 shows played on 4 occasions, as well as a dozen traveling shows and circus schools which can be found all over the city. And to end this day in apotheosis: at 8 p.m. the Grand Place hosts the big final show! A weekend not to be missed for the people of Mouscron or for passing street art lovers.
