Bomarzo – Received and published – A rude awakening yesterday morning for the Bomarzese community who found themselves with the sad and unexpected news of the death of Dr. Marcello Faggioli.

As a young doctor of Nepesine origins, in the 70s he moved to Bomarzo to practice his profession.
Over the years, thanks to his professional growth, his humanity, his availability always and in any case for others, he had become a point of reference for the Bomarzesi for whom he was not only the doctor, but also the friend, the confidant, the person to rely on especially in difficult situations.
A cultured man, curious and passionate about his profession that he had looked after by continuing with other studies up to those to which he had dedicated himself in recent years on oxygen ozone therapy for the treatment of ALS.
Dr. Faggioli also had an entrepreneurial soul, having invested in the town of Bomarzo over the years and also created the Miosotys retirement home for the elderly.
Today he leaves a great professional and human void in his Bomarzo. Since yesterday the funeral chapel has been literally invaded by the people of Bomarzo who wanted to go and pay homage to him.
The funeral will be held on Monday, August 26 at 11 a.m. in the church of Cristo Risorto.

Today the community of Bomarzo has been hit by a serious and sudden loss. Our doctor Marcello Faggioli has left us.
Marcello, for us Bomarzesi, a young doctor, had arrived in our town about 50 years ago. Since then he has entered our homes and has been a point of reference for many not only for health reasons.
A cultured man in love with his profession, today he leaves a great void and it is the duty of this community to keep his memory alive. We join in the family’s grief. Thank you
