Motorola may have confirmed its future folding smartphone Razr 3 and good news: it would ship the latest high-end SoC announced by Qualcomm: the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
While the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 from Qualcomm was presented a few days ago, the manufacturer Motorola announced that one of its future smartphones will be equipped with this SoC. But in this announcement, we can detect that this model might be a folding one: might it be the Razr 3?

On the Chinese social network WeiboMotorola General Manager Shen Jin posted a rather mysterious image, reported by PhoneArena. It actually announces that the manufacturer is working on a phone equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, SoC dedicated to high-end smartphones. He states that inside this image, a easter egg hides.
L’easter egg is not the advertised SoC, but it hides a little lower. The light comes from what might be seen as a folding smartphone.
What we know regarding the Motorola Razr 3
However, despite this clue, nothing more is known regarding the Razr 3 from Motorola. At the moment, rumors say that the successor to the Razr 2 would have the right to Ultra Wide Band compatibility (UWB), from 6 to 12 GB of RAM, from 128 to 512 GB of storage and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The most curious have been served since a few weeks ago, Motorola Razr 3 design leaked : he would be inspired by what the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Among other new information, the screen would be FHD +, the selfie sensor of 32 Mpx, a main sensor of 50 Mpx and an ultra wide-angle of 13 Mpx capable of taking macro photos.
The Motorola Razr 3 should be released in China this summer, but would arrive later in our regions; two colors would be available: black or blue. If confirmed, the Razr 3 would therefore be among the first smartphones to benefit from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. We have also learned that theAsus ROG Phone 6 would also be equipped with it, just like the Motorola Frontier which was teased by the manufacturer, with a 200 Mpx photo sensor.
