A Motorola finally announced the start of sales of the Razr 40 in Brazil. Presented on the world market in June this year, the device is the most basic version of the company’s new generation of foldables. The Razr 40 Ultra, a more powerful version, was already available in the Brazilian market a few weeks ago. The price of the Razr 40 in Brazil is R$5,499.

The Razr 40, in turn, does not have a large external screen, but retains the smaller display that was already available on its predecessors, and which can also be useful for viewing the time, battery level and notifications. Inside, Motorola has used the same foldable pOLED screen as 6.9 inches com 144Hz refresh rate.
In terms of cameras, the Razr 40 set is practically the same as the most advanced model, with the exception of the main lens, which was replaced by a sensor of 64 MP. The ultrawide/macro is the same as 13 MPjust like the 32MP front-facing.

Under the hood, the processor employed here is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1combined with options for 8 GB or 12 GB of RAMin addition to 128 GB or 256GB of storage. By having a smaller screen, Motorola managed to take advantage of the internal space to place a slightly larger battery than the Ultra model, which is why the “normal” Razr 40 has 4.800 mAhwhich supports loads of up to 30 watts e 5 watts wireless.

The Razr 40 and 40 Ultra are expected to launch in the US within the next few days.
The Razr 40 is already on sale through Motorola’s own channels in Brazil, telephone operators and retail chains, at a suggested price of R$ 5.499. It can be found in colors Sage Green, Vanilla e Lilac.
