Motorola Moto G52 phone specifications revealed

Motorola has clearly embraced Samsung’s path with its mid-range series. Last year, the company unveiled the Moto G71, G51, G41, and G31, among other devices in the Gx0 series. Now, the company begins a new cycle. While he seems to be busy with all the rumors swirling around the super flagship Motorola Edge 30 Ultra (Frontier) and a host of other devices, there are now reports regarding the Motorola Moto G52. The device will come for the mid-range segment, a category that has given Motorola a certain popularity in recent years, particularly in emerging markets.

Earlier this month, the company unleashed the Moto G222. Now, Evan Blass and 91 mobiles He brought details regarding a new mid-range smartphone dubbed Moto G52. The new device is not a direct sequel to the Moto G51 5G. After all, rumors suggest that it will lack 5G connectivity. However, it still looks like a step forward when compared to the Moto G41.

Alleged specifications of the Motorola Moto G52

According to the laneThe Moto G52 will bring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680. For those unaware, this chipset has replaced the Snapdragon 678 but it looks a lot like the revamped Snapdragon 662. That’s regarding it, on a modern 6nm node. The phone brings older ARM Cortex-A73 cores as well as ARM Cortex-A53 cores. These slices really look like a bait of putty. Unfortunately, it has been used by many companies. It’s basically the new ruler for where the Snapdragon 625, 662 and 665 were previously ruled. The chip is actually less impressive than the Snapdragon 480+ in the G51 5G. This phone brings the latest Cortex-A76 cores and also a much better Adreno 619. The phone will come in variants with 4 GB of RAM and 6 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, there will be a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB. We assume there will be at least three options – 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB.

The Moto G52 will come with a 6.55-inch pOLED display with Full HD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. For comparison, its predecessor had a larger screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz but it was a regular IPS LCD screen. The camera department houses a 50MP main camera module on the back. The phone is also paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera and 2MP depth sensor. Finally, we have a 16MP selfie snapper inside a central punch-hole.

The phone draws its power from a 5,000 mAh battery, and we expect at least 18W charging. The phone will have IP52 dust and splash resistance, and stereo speakers. Last but not least, the phone will be running Android 12 directly.

We expect more details to emerge soon. It’s a good time for Motorola to update its mid-range segment, as it replaces LG’s previous position in key markets including the US.
