Motorola Frontier – An official photo of its 125W charger

Motorola makes our mouths water with a fast 125W recharge. It could equip the Motorola Frontier.

Motorola smartphones are not just about Moto G. The company also operates in the very high-end segment. The upcoming smartphone could push the boundaries.

Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo Mobile China, Motorola’s parent company, posted an intriguing photo on his Weibo page. It reveals an operational charger of 125W. He also specifies that this block weighs only 130 g. It is very light compared to the competition.

Which smartphone will benefit from this fast charging? It can’t be theEdge 30 Proit comes with a 68W recharge.

The expected device is the Motorola Frontier. It may come out under another name in the trade but we are already talking about it as a very high-end smartphone.

Motorola Frontier – One Plug technique ultra high end

Evleaks had gotten his hands on a rendering of the smartphone. Much of its features have also leaked.

The Motorola Frontier has a large 6.67-inch P-OLED display with curved edges on each side. Its resolution is only FullHD+ but its refresh rate goes up to 144Hz.

It should run with a slightly doped Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor as its SM8475 number suggests. The Motorola Frontier could accommodate a “Plus” version of the processor. To support it in its task, RAM and storage go up to 12GB and 256GB.

The composition of the main camera looks supernatural. It has a 194MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra wide-angle and a 12MP telephoto sensor. On the other side, a 60MP Selfie camera is announced.

Finally, its 4500mAh battery can be recharged by wired 125W and 50W wirelessly.

After this teaser, the Motorola Frontier should be out soon. Will it see the light of day outside of China? That’s another question.
