The Federation of United Motorcyclists of Colombia (Fedumcol) announced that this time it will be a March totally peaceful walk which will depart at 7:00 in the morning in the Bomba El Amparo sector, take the entire Pedro de Heredia avenue and arrive at the Plaza de la Aduana in the Historic Center of the city.and the city.

Fedumcol reiterated that motorcycle taxi drivers, motorcycle workers and the motorcycle union in general will attend with white shirts in order to identify the organizers of the demonstration and prevent acts of vandalism.

“We are going to go along the entire right lane of Pedro de Heredia avenue, the idea is not to interfere with the passage of Transcaribe, but if we see that the magnitude of protesters is great we will see ourselves in the painful need to take the Transcaribe lane. The requests that we have made to the mayor is that he look at the possibility of modifying the decree”, José Antonio Julio Ahumedo, member of Fedumcol.

The leader affirmed that among the modifications of the decree proposed by the union is to allow the circulation of motorcycles on Pedro de Heredia Avenue between 5:00 in the morning and 11:00 at night from Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday all day. In the same way, they will request the elimination of Fridays without a motorcycle.

“We also ask that you take into account the organizations that are duly constituted before the Chamber of Trade to organize the topic of mototaxism”, he pointed out.
