A serious accident occurred on Wednesday around 6:00 p.m. on the Brussels ring road, near kilometer marker 12.5 in Waterloo, towards the capital.
A motorcyclist who was aggressively slaloming between idling vehicles violently collided with a heavy goods vehicle.
The motorcycle driver was thrown from his machine and seriously injured. He was transported to hospital where, at the time of his admission to the emergency department, his life-threatening condition appeared to be in jeopardy.
Another accident an hour later
The Walloon Brabant public prosecutor’s office requested the intervention of an expert at the scene of the accident.
An hour later, another collision occurred a few hundred meters upstream from the first accident. A distracted motorist hit the vehicle in front of him in heavily slowed traffic. The driver was injured and taken to hospital.
