The collision of two motorcyclists on the Punto Cero bridge caused a stir this Wednesday in Medellin. The crash resulted in a man falling into the void around 9:30 at night.
It is known that the two citizens were injured and They were transferred to the Pablo Tobón Uribe hospital. The man who fell from the bridge died in the last hours, as confirmed by the authorities to this newspaper.
The episode was recorded on citizen videos. In these the moments following the crash were portrayed. People, seeing that the man who fell managed to survive, they can’t say anything other than: “Oh, my blessed God.”
The man, still wearing the helmet, is aided by some citizens. These gave some details of what happened: the collision occurred on the bridge: one of those affected was injured on the road, the other fell and, despite the height, he did not die instantly.
What caused the fall, in addition to the shock, it would have been the lack of a railing on one side of the bridge. That was the conclusion reached by the citizens who witnessed the accident.
“This bridge is so dangerous… It must be that it went through this hole”say the people who recorded the episode, while the sound of the ambulances stuns and some street dwellers confirm the absence of the railing.
The speculations did not wait: “He flew off the motorcycle, as they collided. Oh, no, and they are more than three meters, more or less”. The condition of the second injured man is unknown.
