His wife (55), who was riding pillion, was critically injured in the traffic accident. She was taken to the Klagenfurt State Hospital by the C14 rescue helicopter, the Carinthia State Police Directorate announced on Saturday.
The biker skidded on the wet road at around 9:25 a.m. and first collided with the left side of an oncoming car driven by a 35-year-old Viennese man. He then collided with the car of a 62-year-old Viennese man. The drivers of the cars were uninjured in the accident.
