MotoGP race cancelled due to natural disaster

The reason for this is the consequences of a flood, the marketing company Dorna, the world association FIM and the team association IRTA announced jointly.

Logistical problems arose. Instead, the race will now take place from September 20 to 22 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy.

Originally, the race in Kazakhstan was supposed to take place in mid-June. However, due to the flood in spring, final work on the route might not be carried out.

It would have been the premiere on the new “Sokol International Racetrack”.
