11:14 p.m

All clear after falls

Both Sean Dylan Kelly and Celestino Vietti in Moto2 and Alberto Surra in Moto3 have been declared fit following their medical check at the track. Gabriel Rodrigo is to be checked again before the third free practice session.

10:58 p.m

Moto3 FT2: Garcia in 11th

Championship leader Garcia finished Friday in eleventh, 1.1 seconds back. The last places for the provisional direct entry into Q2 go to Rossi, Bertelle and Surra, who is still in 14th place despite his crash. We keep our fingers crossed that the Honda driver has done nothing.

10:54 p.m

Moto3 FT2: Best time Foggia

Foggia shows that it is also possible without a slipstream. The Honda driver set a clear best time of 2:15,440 minutes. Migno also improved on the last lap, but remained 0.384 seconds slower than Foggia.

The team-internal duel at Ajo-KTM is decided by Holgado, who finally pushes Masia out of third place. With Öncü, another KTM rider completes the top 5. Toba, Tatay, Suzuki, Guevara and Sasaki occupy places six to ten.

10:49 p.m

Moto3 FT2: Heavy traffic

Now it’s getting really crowded on the track. Everyone is out there trying to position themselves cleverly to take advantage of the slipstream rather than getting stuck in traffic. Not an easy task.

10:44 p.m

Moto3 FT2: New record

Foggia can improve again and set a new best time of the day with 2:16.232 minutes, which the competition now has to measure against. Meanwhile, Foggia’s teammate Suzuki crashed at Turn 1.

10:42 p.m

Moto3 FT2: First touch

Now Foggia is also improving his time. He can reduce the gap to Mignos overall best time to 0.330 seconds. In the last minutes of the session it should get even tighter.

Many drivers make a final pit stop to pull out on fresh tires and launch a final attack.

10:29 p.m

Moto3 FT2: Guevara first pursuer

Guevara takes the lead with a new session best time of 2:16.590 minutes and moves into second place in the overall rankings. He is still 0.349 seconds short of Migno’s overall best time.

Meanwhile, Mignos teammate Surra fell again. Already in FT1 he had a crash. But now it’s a highside in turn 11. Surra has to be carried away on a stretcher.

10:25 p.m

Moto3 FT2: Even slower

After the first laps, Masia is still in the lead. Migno and Sasaki follow in second and third place. But no one is faster than Migno in the morning.

10:17 p.m

Moto3 FT2: Early crash

Tatay crashes at Turn 18 on his first flying lap and has to pit early in the session. Masia is at the top of the rankings for the start, but no one is faster than in FT1 yet.

10:13 p.m

Moto3 FT2: Final Practice

Moto3 concludes the day with its second free practice session. Andrea Migno was the fastest in the morning with a time of 2:16.241 minutes. As the other classes have shown, the pace should pick up again significantly.

10:06 p.m

MotoGP FT2: The rest of the rankings

Dovizioso is the second best Yamaha rider in 15th, ranked behind Marini. The two LCR pilots Alex Marquez and Nakagami follow on positions 16 and 17.

Morbidelli finished Friday in 21st place behind the two rookies Bezzecchi and Gardner. It is only worse for Oliveira, who experiences a pitch-black day and also has to admit defeat by two rookies. Behind Darryn Binder, who crashed late, and Fernandez, the KTM rider is in last place.

22:00 O’clock

MotoGP FT2: Best time Zarco

Zarco beat Miller to the best time in the final sprint and topped the classification with 2:02.542 minutes. Quartararo and Bastianini also set times under 2:03 and lined up behind the two Ducatis in third and fourth place. Rins is fifth, Marc Marquez sixth. The Spaniard is half a second behind the leaders.

Vinales, Mir, Bagnaia and Martin round out the top 10. The two Espargaros and Brad Binder, in eleventh to 13th place, are still within one second of the day’s fastest time.
