The Moto G23 recently arrived on the national market as another basic cell phone option from Motorola that goes beyond the entry-level models, but does not deliver a set as complete and expensive as the advanced intermediaries. Is your cost-benefit interesting?
The design has been slightly updated to be in line with what we have on Motorola’s most expensive phones. The edges have been reduced for better frontal use and the camera block is bigger and with a cleaner look. The always-on biometric reader is integrated into the power button and works well.
The 6.5-inch screen with an IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution brings decent brightness and a 90 Hz refresh rate for good fluidity with animations and games. Motorola corrected a failure of the predecessor by placing stereo audio in this one and even incorporated Dolby Atmos technology to deliver greater immersion with movies.
The Helio G85 is present in yet another Motorola cell phone and here it comes with 4 GB of RAM. Multitasking performance is not the best and it tends to reload open apps in the background. However, we had a considerable step forward compared to the predecessor, especially in games. The battery lasts a little longer and lasts all day, but it still takes two hours to recharge.
The photographic set consists of a 50 MP camera, hybrid ultra-wide with 5 MP background blur and a macro of only 2 MP with fixed focus. The Moto G23 captures good images in well-lit places and features efficient night mode in dark scenarios. The 16 MP front camera records good selfies in bright places and doesn’t suffer so much at night. The camcorder records in Full HD at 30 fps and does not have stabilization to deal with the shakes and also fails to capture mono audio.
