It’s time to check out Motorola’s new basic cell phone that arrived a few months ago on the national market. The Moto E13 is another option for those looking for a cheap cell phone, but is it worth it?

Its design is in line with the recent releases of the brand and we have a cell phone with a flatter back and a block that is less bulging towards the camera. There is only one sensor at the rear, while the LED flash is on the second rim to make the look more harmonic. A disappointing point is that the Moto E13 does not come with a biometric reader.

Its 6.5-inch screen features an IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of just 60 Hz. Considering that Motorola has already released some affordable phones with a 90 Hz screen, we expected to see a more responsive screen here. The level of brightness is not impressive, but it is above previous generations. The sound is only mono and the quality is not the best.

Its hardware is made up of Unisoc’s T606 chip and can be found in options with 2 and 4 GB of RAM. We tested the simplest one and we can say that the cell phone struggles to keep apps open in the background. It’s worth paying a little extra for the more expensive one that also comes with twice as much storage.

The 5,000 mAh battery performs well and can last up to two days with light use. The 10W charger that comes in the box takes almost 3 hours to recharge. There is a simple 13 MP camera on the back that does the basics, as well as a 5 MP front camera that records decent selfies in favorable light. Both record Full HD video with mono audio.

Is it worth buying the Moto E13? Although it doesn’t excite the camera, it delivers above average performance and battery and can be a good one for anyone looking for a cheap cell phone. Below you can check all the details of our analysis:
