Motis 2024 Officially Closed, 12,733 Homecoming Motorcycles Successfully Transported – 2024-04-20 13:27:12

The 2024 Free Motorcycle Transportation (Motis) PROGRAM organized by the Directorate General of Railways has successfully transported 12,733 motorbikes for homecoming travelers. This was conveyed by the Director General of Railways, Risal Wasal when attending the closing of the 1445 H Eid Transport Integrated Command Post in Jakarta, Friday (19/4).

Risal said that this number was a temporary accumulation figure up to April 19 2024, with details: “The total number of motorbikes transported during the homecoming flow reached 4,774 units, 6,343 units during the return flow, while for the contraflow flow we managed to transport 1,616 motorbikes so that if added up, the total “Meanwhile, during motorbike transportation there were 12,733 motorbikes,” explained Risal.

Apart from transporting motorbikes, Motis 2024 has also succeeded in carrying 43,365 passengers, with details for homecoming and return flows of 28,915, and 14,450 passengers for contraflow during homecoming and return flows. The peak of Motis 2024 implementation will be April 5 2024 for the homecoming flow with 928 motorbikes, while for the return flow it will be April 16 2024 with 839 motorbikes transported.

“We would like to thank all participants who have participated and supported the Motis 2024 program. The input and suggestions we receive will be taken into account to be used as material for our evaluation,” said Risal.

For your information, the Free Motorcycle Transportation (Motis) program is an annual program organized by the Ministry of Transportation’s DJKA as an implementation of the President’s instructions to reduce the number of homecoming travelers using motorbikes. This year, the Motis 2024 program will be held from 2-19 April 20204, with the registration period open from 4 March to 18 April 2024.
