NEW YORK — Deja Taylor, the mother of the 6-year-old accused in the shooting death of a teacher at Richneck Elementary School, has pleaded guilty. Taylor’s son is accused of shooting his teacher, Abby Swerner, at Richneck Elementary School. On January 6, the student brought his mother’s gun into the classroom and shot the teacher in the hand and chest, police said.
