Mother of 11-year-old school student: – Trembling when murder comes so close

The murder of a 36-year-old man took place in a private residence on Buhlvej just opposite Frydenstrandskolen in Frederikshavn. This meant that the police were massively present – also at the time when the students arrived for the day’s school on Monday morning.

Christina Frimer handed over her 11-year-old daughter Malou, who is in the 4th grade at Frydenstrand School, shortly before 8am.

She had heard regarding the murder in advance, when she had been informed regarding the murder via SMS.

Christina Frimer, who is self-employed, has the opportunity to follow her daughter to school, and today it felt right to do so, the mother believes.

This morning, Christina Frimer turned the situation around with her daughter, so that the daughter was aware of why there were so many police right by the school.

– It is shocking when a murder suddenly comes so close to one’s everyday life, and Malou was also a little shaken by the murder. But she took it well – and on top of cases with girls involved, following all, it calmed my daughter down a bit when she was told that it was adults who were involved in the case. But it is of course tragic when this sort of thing happens, emphasizes Christina Frimer.
