Kafr El-Sheikh – Islam Ammar:
A small, medium-sized house off a main street in the village of Kafr Al-Sharana, affiliated to the Disouq Center in Kafr El-Sheikh, which is known for its calmness. A forty-year-old woman witnessed the slaughter of her daughter, claiming that she was in a bad psychological state.
Siham Youssef, a housewife in her mid-40s, resides in the village of Kafr Al-Sharana, accused of killing her daughter Nada Hafez, 13, a middle school student who lives with her in the same house, as part of a small family known to the villagers and led by the mother following the departure of the father some years ago.
On Sunday the day before yesterday, the forty-year-old mother killed her daughter, “Nada”, for no reason other than claiming that she was in a bad psychological state that made her accept to get rid of her childhood, unintentionally, by immersing the victim in her sleep to save her crime.
The child “Nada” was the victim of her mother, who was no more than 13 years old. She fell asleep amidst calm and serenity, without feeling her surroundings, like any child embracing her bed. During that moment, the mother grabbed a white weapon “knife” and attacked her daughter’s neck in a brutal manner, according to the inspection of the policemen. Intending to take her own life in such a painful way.
The accused mother left the scene of the accident in the house that brought them together, heading to Alexandria to hide there with some relatives, away from the eyes of the villagers, who used to see the family daily, while her child was soaked in her blood, bleeding from her profusely, and none of the neighbors felt or understood what happened to the little girl.
About 24 hours following committing the crime, the mother confessed what she had done with her daughter to one of her relatives, who was hiding with them, but he refused to remain silent and decided to take her to the Desouk police station to present her to the center’s detectives to tell them in detail regarding the incident.
Accordingly, Major General Khaled Al-Muhammadi, Director of Criminal Investigations at the Kafr El-Sheikh Security Directorate, Major General Essam Al-Najjar, Assistant Director of Kafr El-Sheikh Security, moved to the Desouk Police Division, Brigadier Haitham Abdel-Maqsoud, Head of the Criminal Investigation Branch in western Kafr El-Sheikh, Brigadier General Muhammad Kamal, Warden of the Desouk Police Station, and Major Ahmed Abd al-Shafi, head of investigations at the center, and Captain Ahmed Yousry, assistant investigator at the center.
The policemen conducted a security response around the scene of the incident, while the detectives inspected the scene of the accident, and the body of the child was found lying on her back and wearing a robe, with a deep stab wound to the neck, and abundant blood around the body.
The mother was arrested, and in discussion with her, she admitted to committing the incident due to the fact that she had gone through a severe psychological crisis following the death of her husband, the child’s father, regarding 4 years ago, which made her accept the commission of the incident, and following realizing how she committed it, she fled to Alexandria Governorate to hide with one of her relatives there.
The necessary report of the incident was drawn up, and the Public Prosecution was notified to initiate investigations. Counselor Amr Al-Awadi, head of the Desouk Prosecution Office, under the supervision of Counselor Saud Muhammad Naguib, the Attorney General of the Kafr El-Sheikh College Prosecution Office, ordered the assignment of a forensic doctor to dissect the body of a middle school girl who was slaughtered by her mother in the village of Kafr Al-Sharana. affiliated to the Desouk Center, to indicate the causes of death.
The Chief Prosecutor of Desouk also ordered the transfer of the child’s body to the morgue of Kafr El-Sheikh General Hospital to conduct the autopsy there, and to authorize the burial of the body following the autopsy and assign forensic evidence to the Kafr El-Sheikh Security Directorate to remove the effects of the accident.
The Chief Prosecutor, Counselor Amr Al-Awadi, moved at the head of a team from the prosecution, which included Muhammad Al-Masiri, Baher Shamata, and the two prosecutors, to conduct an inspection of the crime scene, and an examination of the body as part of the investigation procedures conducted by the Public Prosecution.
