Bangalore റോ Royal Challengers Bangalore advanced to the second qualifier following beating Lucknow Super Giants in the eliminator. Bangalore had to bat first for the wicket at Eden Gardens but were bowled out for 207 by Lucknow.
In the 2nd qualifier, despite getting off to a relatively good start, batting first, Bangalore might only manage 157 for 8 in 20 overs. Prasidh Krishna (3 for 22) and Obid McCoy (3 for 23) were the main contributors to the Bangalore batting line – up. Team head coach Kumar Sangakkara did not forget to praise both following the match.
