Moscow ready to provide coronavirus vaccine to countries in need: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Moscow is ready to provide its coronavirus vaccine to countries in need Sputnik.

While addressing the virtual summit meeting of the ‘G20’ countries held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, he said that the corona virus has caused an economic crisis.

He said everyone should have access to effective and safe vaccines. The Russian President said that Sputnik is the first registered vaccine in the world while the second vaccine ‘Epivac Corona‘ is also ready. The President of Russia said that the third Russian vaccine is also coming soon.

The G20 summit hosted by Saudi Arabia is taking place. The 15th G20 summit has been held through video link.

The heads of 20 major economies of the world participating in the conference have pledged to ensure the fair distribution of vaccines and medicines for the corona virus and to help poor countries fighting the epidemic.

In his opening address to the conference, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz said, “We are optimistic about the development of a vaccine, treatment and diagnostic tools for Corona, but we must work for low cost and fair access for all people.”

“This year was extraordinary,” he said. Corona epidemic caused economic and social damage to the whole world. Efforts are underway with global cooperation to end the Corona crisis.
