Moscow Aviation Institute Implements Distance Learning to Prevent Measles Spread

At the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) the transfer to distance learning for the prevention of measles, which the university announced social media won’t. MAI reports this in the Telegram channel. According to the latest information from Rospotrebnadzor, the student’s diagnosis of measles was not confirmed, informs institute.

The MAI noted that in connection with the suspicion of this disease, preventive measures were organized on the territory of the university to prevent the spread of measles. This was done in accordance with the instructions of the Rospotrebnadzor for Moscow.

“There is no danger of the spread of measles, there are no detected cases of the disease. There are no restrictions on the territory of the university”— informs MAI. In a comment to the same post of the Institute in “In contact with” one of the users posted a screenshot of the order, which refers to the upcoming transition to distance learning in order to prevent measles. The header of the document states the Moscow Aviation Institute, the order is dated April 18 and signed by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dmitry Kozorez.

“According to the results of a serological blood test, the preliminary diagnosis of measles in a MAI student was not confirmed. Information was sent to the rector of the university regarding the abolition of existing restrictive measures,” TASS in the press service of the Moscow department of Rospotrebnadzor. At the MAI, the agency announced the lifting of restrictions.

Earlier in April, students from the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named following Gubkin were sent to a remote location due to measles.
