The discussion took place during a meeting held in the capital, Moscow, yesterday between Russian Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov and Bahraini Ambassador to Moscow Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al-Saati.
The discussion included topics related to Bahrain’s participation in the Eastern Economic Forum, scheduled to be held in Vladivostok between September 3 and 6, the International Falcon Day Forum, and the BRICS Summit in Kazan, Russia, in October of this year.
The Russian presidential adviser expressed his confidence that communication within the framework of events enhances cooperation between the two countries. Kobyakov said at the meeting: “We are watching Bahrain’s interest in developing relations with Russia in many areas, and the participation of officials and business from the Kingdom in major business events in our country indicates a desire to strengthen bilateral relations. I am confident that cooperation within the framework of leading communication platforms shows the potential for cooperation between the two countries in areas such as trade, energy and humanitarian affairs.”
The importance of developing the partnership between Moscow and Manama in the field of environment was emphasized, and preparations for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s exhibition dedicated to national traditions and local culture in treating birds of prey were discussed, which will be held within the framework of Bahrain’s participation in the international forum “Falcon Day”, which will be held on September 3 in Vladivostok.
The Bahraini ambassador called for giving priority to cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade and economy, and said: “Representatives of the Kingdom will participate in the activities of the Eastern Economic Forum, the “Falcon Day” Forum, and the “BRICS” Summit. Cooperation between countries is multifaceted, but special focus should be placed on trade and economy.”
During the meeting, increasing cooperation between the two countries was also discussed within the framework of other events such as “Russian Energy Week”, the Russian Tourism Forum “Travel!” and others.
