These investments should reach more than 3.57 billion dirhams in 2025, before reaching 2.08 billion dirhams in 2026, indicates this report published on the website of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance.

For the year 2023, ONHYM plans to carry out investment projects of 957 million dirhams (MDH) which mainly concern the Office’s share in the development project of the Tendrara operating concession, the maintenance of the Maghreb Europe Gas Pipeline (GME), the Office’s share in the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline and the development of the MKL-110 gas well (Meskala).

Regarding turnover, it should close this year at 463 MDH, an increase of 42% compared to the achievements of 2022. The report also recalls that the world economy experienced, in 2023, a favorable recovery in the energy sector and mining, in particular, through strong demand for energy products, which encouraged investments in the sector and generated a positive development in hydrocarbon and mining activity.

In this context, ONHYM continues to deploy considerable efforts to support its strategic partners in carrying out their investment programs, while continuing its research and promotion strategy to attract new oil companies to invest in Morocco, and boost exploration in Moroccan sedimentary basins.
