The weather promises to be quite cold with local frost on the Atlas, the Rif, the South-East and the Oriental, this Sunday, January 23, 2022, according to the weather forecasts established by the General Directorate of Meteorology.
Light rains are expected in places on the Rif, the Saiss, the Middle Atlas, the Mediterranean, the Tangier, the Oriental and the northern coasts.
A few snowflakes will fall on the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas, and fairly strong gusts of wind will blow on Tangier.
Minimum temperatures of around -04/03°C on the Atlas, 00/05°C on the Rif, the Oriental and the South-East, 05/12°C on the northern and central Atlantic plains , 10/16°C in the north of the southern provinces and 15/20°C in the Souss and the rest of the south. Today’s temperatures will drop, especially in the Center.
The sea, for its part, little to rough on the Mediterranean, rough on the Strait and between Tangier and Assilah, little rough between Mehdia and El Jorf and between Essaouira and Boujdour and little to rough elsewhere.
