Morocco occupies 16th place in the ranking of the 20 countries with the best roads in the world, compiled by the financial platform Insider Monkey. The kingdom owes this place to the average speed score, a metric encompassing factors such as accessibility, surface condition and traffic flow. Moroccan roads have an average speed of 95 kilometers per hour, which underlines the country’s unwavering desire to improve its infrastructure, specifies the Road Quality and Mean Speed Score report from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) published in May 2022.
