Lhe speed reading and mind-mapping world championship was held on May 28 and 29 at the Hassan II Foundation media library in Casablanca. This event was attended by several countries including Canada, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Poland, Senegal, Togo, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Belgium, France, Mexico, Pakistan, India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Great Britain and New Caledonia.

A remarkable performance and a deserved ranking

Speed ​​reading and mind-mapping stimulate the brain and challenge its usual abilities for effective and efficient reading, allowing up to 1,000 words to be read in one minute with an information retention rate that exceeds 80%.

During the events of this championship, the Moroccan selection signed a remarkable performance and placed the country first in the world in the junior category, and second in the “adolescents and adults” category, a well-deserved success.

“What makes the strength of the Moroccan selection is truly its diversity. Our main goal is to always connect participants to their true potential and develop their team spirit. This success is the result of a lot of effort and training. The adventure certainly does not end there”, underlined Majda Brabije, president of the CSIA, and international referee for the 2022 edition of the brain sports championships.

A promising future for learning techniques in Morocco

“I am very proud of the Moroccan team and I congratulate all the participants for their performance in the championships. They really surpassed themselves and showed great potential. Brain sports are used for this, to surpass yourself! ”, underlines Nicolas Lisiak, president of the APAC.

The speed reading and mind-mapping championship is now an annual event, “It is an invitation to Moroccans, whatever their age, profession or interests, to integrate speed reading and mind-mapping in their daily lives. The followers of these techniques are delighted to be able to challenge their cognitive abilities and stimulate their brain for better concentration and productivity,” added the president of the AMSC.
