Rabat – The International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, announced yesterday, Friday, the launch of the world’s first artificial intelligence character that narrates the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, the Seal of the Messengers.
This came according to a statement issued by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), which hosts the exhibition and museum at its headquarters in Rabat.
The statement pointed out that “in response to the success and great turnout achieved by the exhibition and museum, new updates were launched in its various halls and wings.”
He explained that among these updates is the launch of the character “Bashir,” “which is the first artificial intelligence character in the world to deal with the fragrant biography of the Prophet.”
According to the statement, “This virtual character is distinguished by technical, encyclopedic and scientific capabilities.”
He pointed out that the character Bashir “interacts with visitors and answers all their questions about the biography of the Holy Prophet, which provides exhibition visitors with a unique spiritual digital experience.”
It is noteworthy that the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization was inaugurated at the ISESCO headquarters in Rabat in November 2022.
The step, at that time, was the culmination of a partnership between ISESCO, the Muslim World League, and the Mohammedan League of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco, as the exhibition and museum aim to “present the message of Islam represented in justice, peace, mercy, tolerance, coexistence, and moderation, based on the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah.”
The exhibition and museum include three main pavilions. The first is the “International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization,” which is supervised by the Muslim World League. It includes several sections documenting the life of the Chosen Messenger, may the best prayers and peace be upon him.
The second pavilion, “Panorama of the Prophet’s Chamber in the First Era,” displays the daily life of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in his chamber using 3D techniques and virtual reality mechanisms.
The third wing is “The Moroccans’ Connection to the Noble Prophet, the Beauty of Love and Loyalty Exhibition,” which is supervised by the Mohammedan League of Scholars in the Kingdom of Morocco.
This exhibition and museum is considered the first touring version of the exhibitions of the Prophet’s biography and Islamic civilization outside Saudi Arabia, whose headquarters are in Medina, and which enjoy special attention and care from the Kingdom, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
