The 13th edition of the Arbois and Mediterranean Round Tables will bring together no less than a thousand people this year to discuss the future of the green hydrogen sector in Europe and Africa.

With a new USD 12 billion investment program initiated by the OCP Group for the period 2023-2027, Morocco is at the forefront of a green revolution in Africa. The commitment is to develop an agriculture that is more respectful of the soil but also to develop new sources of renewable energy, first and foremost green hydrogen. This commitment of the Kingdom will be highlighted during the 13th edition of the Arbois and Mediterranean Round Tables scheduled for May 3 and 4 in Aix-en-Provence.

This event organized by the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in collaboration with the Aix-Marseille University and the CNRS will discuss the future of the green hydrogen sector in Africa. “Green hydrogen is a source of hope for accelerating the energy transition in Morocco and Africa. We are proud to organize this 13th edition of the Round Tables of Arbois and the Mediterranean, to make citizens discover the scientific advances and the opportunities of green hydrogen on the African and European continents”, declares in this sense Hicham El Habti, president of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University.

For his part, Daniel Nahon, founder of the Round Tables of Arbois and the Mediterranean, indicates that “this year, the central theme of green hydrogen is essential to support the challenges of decarbonizing economies, green mobility and of energy independence. And to add: “We will have the opportunity to listen to prestigious experts who will share their knowledge in order to offer concrete solutions for European and African economies”.
