The good dynamic is confirmed. The flow of tourist arrivals to Morocco reached 12.3 million at the end of October 2023, a remarkable increase of 39% compared to a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy.
This growth testifies to “the remarkable resilience of Moroccan tourism despite the crises”, underlines the ministry in a press release.

Quoted in the press release, the Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor said: “We have just crossed the mark of 12 million visitors in 2023, despite the challenges encountered following the Al Haouz earthquake. These achievements reinforce the efforts made by our country in terms of promotion and diversification of emitting markets.”
“We are on track for a record year with 14 million tourists,” continued the minister, calling on the entire industry to stay the course for the next two months.
