Walid Rekragui, coach of the Moroccan national team, said that the team is capable of winning the 2026 World Cup title, after its achievement in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The Moroccan national team ranked fourth in the 2022 World Cup finals, after losing to the Croatian national team in the bronze match.
“I thank the Moroccan people for their support for us in the Qatar 2022 World Cup, and we will win the next World Cup, God willing,” Rekragui added, in televised statements.
He added, “The Moroccan national team will prove to the world that there is an African and Arab team that can win the World Cup. With your confidence and support, we will achieve this.”
