Moroccan sports club Wydad reached the final match of the African Champions League, on Friday, despite being tied in its field by Petro Atletico of Angola, with a goal for the same in the second leg of the semi-finals.

Petro Atletico advanced with a goal scored by Brazilian striker Gelson Moreira in the 21st minute, but Wydad equalized quickly through defender Amin Farhan in the 28th minute.

Wydad benefited from its victory in the first leg in Angola by three goals to one, to qualify for the final, outperforming the result of the two meetings, with a total of 4-2 goals.

In the final scene, Wydad faces the qualifiers from the Algerian ES Setif and its Egyptian counterpart, Al-Ahly, knowing that the first leg between the two teams ended with the latter’s victory with four goals without a response.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has set Monday, May 30, the date for the final match, without specifying the time of its start.

CAF granted Morocco the honor of hosting the final match for the second time in a row, which means that Wydad will play the final among its fans.
