The adventurer and Moroccan mountaineering champion, Bouchra Baibanou, managed to add another feat to her record between 2011 and 2018 following climbing the summit of Annapurna in the Himalayas on Thursday.

Mount Annapurna is located in the Himalayas in central Nepal with a height of 8,091 meters (26,545 feet), and is known as one of the most dangerous mountains in the world for climbers.

On his social media page, Baibanou wrote, “Praise God I was able to climb Mount Annapurna, one of the toughest mountains in the world. I dedicate this feat to HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and to all Moroccans, as well as to Moroccan, Arab and Muslim women. Thank you to the sponsors who trusted me and allowed me to hoist the flag of Morocco above the summit of Annapurna in the Himalayas”.
