The so-called “Morning Consult”, an international consulting institute, recently conducted das “Global Leader Approval Rating”, i.e. a ranking of approval for heads of state and government. The Austrian chancellor did not do particularly well. Karl Nehammer landed in 22nd place and is therefore last.
Only 25 percent agree
Overall, the chancellor received only 25 percent approval, while 68 percent rejected his position. The consultants calculate a minus of 42 percent.
Well-known heads of state such as Joe Biden (11th place), Justin Trudeau (13th place) as well as Emmanuel Macron (16th place) and Boris Johnson (20th place) are ahead of Nehammer. In first place is Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a significant increase of 56 percent.
