Imran Khan and Asad Umar approached the Islamabad High Court on more than 100 cases against former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan and PTI leaders.
He stated in the petition that more than hundred cases have been registered against Imran Kha, PTI leaders and workers, thousands of workers have been arrested and detained, many workers are still missing.
He requested that a detailed report on the cases should be called for, the arrest and disappearance of workers in Islamabad should be declared as a violation of fundamental rights, the criminal laws against Imran Khan should be declared as unnecessary and illegal.
Imran Khan said in the petition that the court should stop the enforced disappearance and arrest of the activists and declare the cases registered under the same charge null and void.
