Several provisions are being put in place by the government of the Republic for the payment of scholarships for Congolese students residing in Russia, the government announced during the session of oral questions to the government with debate on Wednesday August 10. in the Senate.

The Congolese government led by its leader Anatole Collinet Makosso answered questions from senators on Wednesday August 10, 2022 in the hemicycle of the upper house of Parliament. The Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Technological Innovation Edith Delphine Emmanuel enlightened the audience regarding the situation of the payment of the scholarship of Congolese students residing in Russia. “The government might not, under the authority of the Prime Minister, be satisfied with paying only the student scholarships for the 2019 promotion, it therefore decided sovereignly that how much even the sub-commission of scholarships would not have sat under the years 2020, 2021, 2022 that all Congolese students might be able to benefit from the scholarship,” she said. A total of 798 students will have to be paid and arrangements are being put in place to resolve this situation.
