The money will be used to upgrade parks, embankments, squares and streets.
80 municipalities from 48 regions that won the seventh additional All-Russian competition for projects to create a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements will receive subsidies from the federal budget.
The amount of transfers will be from 80 to 396 million rubles. The funds will be used to upgrade parks, embankments, squares and streets.
Until 2022, the participants of the competition were municipalities with a population of up to 100 thousand people. Last year, at the initiative of the President, the size of the prize fund was increased to 20 billion rubles. In this regard, it was decided to hold an additional competition for cities with a population of 100 to 200 thousand people.
As the Prime Minister noted Mikhail Mishustin, such a selection of projects has become not just an important event for the regions. This is an effective tool for developing territories and changing the appearance of domestic settlements.
