More than 500 Ford Mustang Mach-e recalled in France

With all due respect to the purists, the commercial beginnings of the Mustang Mach-ethe first specifically electric production model marketed by Ford, are very encouraging. The recall currently implemented should not tarnish this success, especially since it does not concern the mechanical part of this model.

Indeed, the manufacturer has found that on 27,318 of its electric Mustangs, delivered all over the world, the glass roof was poorly fixed. In extreme cases, this element can become detached and cause an accident. Evil tongues will retort that a Ford Mustang without a convertible variant was, in any case, inconceivable.

The Mach-e affected by this defect were assembled between February 24, 2020 and June 18, 2021. In France, this represents precisely 532 vehicles. All owners of these cars are currently contacted directly by Ford, who asks them to make an appointment without delay with their dealer to carry out the recall operation codified 21S42.

The Mustang Mach-e delivered in France and to be modified have been homologated under CE types e13*2007/46*2387* followed by 00, 01 or 02. This type appears in box K of your vehicle registration document.
