Authorities in Juarez City are investigating the discovery of over 50 dog corpses found in the back of a pickup truck in the Campestre Virreyes neighborhood. Neighbors reported a foul odor coming from the truck, which was parked in the yard of a house on Revillagigedo and Privada de Iturrigaray streets. When authorities arrived, they found the bodies piled up in the bed and cab of the recent model F-150. The owner claimed to work at a clinic and had picked up the bodies from the street, but the state of decomposition led Public Services personnel to remove them to a special area of the municipal dump.
