More than 40 countries and regions participate in the Vladivostok Economic Forum

The event is expected to be attended by about 4,200 people, according to Russian presidential adviser Anton Kobyakov, in a statement carried by the Roscongress Foundation, which is responsible for organizing the event.

Kobyakov noted the effective role played by the Economic Forum in the development of the Russian Far East and the Asia-Pacific region as a whole.

“Today, the forum is one of the important business platforms for strategic and practical interaction in the Asia-Pacific region. The mechanisms developed by the forum participants determine the direction of development of the region as a whole. Russia, for its part, provides a decision-making platform for sovereign states of the Asia-Pacific region. The forum also influences the development of the Russian Far East. Thanks to the forum, investors learn about the potential of the Far East, which has a positive impact on the lives of the inhabitants of the Far East,” Kobyakov said.

This year’s edition of the Eastern Economic Forum is scheduled to be held in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 3 to 6, 2024.

The event is a platform for attracting investments to the Russian Far East region, and a forum where participants discuss the challenges facing the economy in Russia and the world as a whole.

The Eastern Economic Forum in its 2023 edition resulted in agreements and contracts worth 3.818 trillion rubles.
