The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro reported this Thursday that 371 health cases have been received through the 1X10 System of the good government.
From the state of Carabobo, during the reopening of the “Dr. Miguel Malpica”, the Head of State pointed out that all the cases have been classified internally by the Control Command Room and in turn are sent to the Single Health Authorities of the country, as appropriate.
For her part, the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, explained that the classification of the cases received in the health sector has made it possible to define 110 community cases, 78 medical supplies, 15 infrastructure, and 129 individual cases. “Of the 371, 64 are closed,” he said.
Gutiérrez explained that the closed CDI or the lack of machinery in a hospital or service, refers to community cases, where 110 cases were registered.
He specified that when the hospital does not have supplies, or they do not reach the patient, they are referring to cases of lack of medical supplies, in which 78 cases were recorded.
15 infrastructure cases and 129 individual cases were presented, where people who need medical attention have not been attended by the system, or the illegal charge for the exercise of medicines and tests that are free was presented.
Regarding the attention of these cases, Maduro instructed the Minister of Health and the Minister of the Office of the Presidency to articulate to attend to individual health cases that arrive through VenApp.

President Maduro reported that secret inspectors will be deployed who will coordinate with the Health Committees of each hospital with the aim of confronting the mafias in hospitals. “An official from the Presidential Inspectorate, secret, for each hospital in the country, who is external and articulates with the health committees and community councils, dot and circle around all the hospitals, overseeing and supporting the hospitals to be reborn and move on,” he instructed.

In this sense, Maduro said that there are mafias that ask patients to acquire medical supplies in the external market, while the products found in the hospital warehouse are irregularly withdrawn to be marketed illegally.
In this regard, the President reported that a group of people are being prosecuted for these crimes before the prosecutor’s office, while reiterating that the National Government will go “all the way to build a public, free, quality system that is an example for the world”.
