More than 300 services provided on the first day of Ciudad Mujer Móvil services in Ñeembucú

Asuncion, IP Agency.- With the arrival of Ciudad Mujer Móvil to the department of Ñeembucú, the first stop was in the city of Villa Oliva, where 74 women were attended to, providing more than 300 services. Tomorrow, Thursday 22, the trucks will be in Alberdi, in front of the Municipality from 08:00 hours.

Ciudad Mujer Móvil brings a wide range of comprehensive services to remote districts of the country. Villa Oliva, where the service day was held, is one of the priority districts of the Social Protection System. The activity was supported by the city’s mayor, Eusebia Musa.

The institutions that supported the Ministry of Women, which leads the initiative, were the Ministry of Health with medical care, ultrasounds, PAP and family planning, and the National Police with identifications, issuing ID cards.

Indert provided advice on accessing land titles, the Electoral Court provided advice to intermediary organizations, Sinafocal provided advice on courses offered, and the MEC provided educational games for girls and boys.

Representatives from ANDE, MAG, CAH, MDS, the Ombudsman’s Office and the Justice of the Peace Court were also present. The Ministry of Women provided psychological care and legal advice.

The Ministry of Women reports that the event scheduled for Friday, August 23 in the town of Villalbín has been cancelled.
