A total of 2,574 people from disadvantaged backgrounds benefited on Saturday from the services of a multidisciplinary medical caravan organized in the towns of Taourirt and El Aïoun Sidi Mellouk.
Organized by the province of Taourirt, in partnership with the provincial delegation of Health and Social Protection, and the Association “Sofouf Acharaf” (Rangs of honor), this medical caravan aims to strengthen the health offer in the province , as well as offering local medical services for the benefit of vulnerable social categories, especially with the drop in temperatures at this time of year.
This medical caravan, supervised by some 80 medical and paramedical executives, including specialist doctors, offered the opportunity to those targeted to benefit from consultations in general medicine, dentistry, gynecology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, cardiology, dermatology, radiology, in addition to the diagnosis of diabetes among others.
Also, this humanitarian action focused on several surgeries, as well as the distribution of drugs for the benefit of destitute beneficiaries.
On this occasion, the governor of the province of Taourirt, Larbi Touijer, who paid a visit to the health centers which hosted this caravan, praised the efforts made by all the health managers who supervised this caravan, urging the Association “Sofouf Acharaf” to carry out more charitable and humanitarian actions, and this for the consecration of the values of solidarity of Moroccan society.
