On August 12, the association, founded in 2019 and which brings together migrants and Spaniards who returned to their country, issued a statement saying that the situation in Venezuela is “one of war” and asked the Spanish State to adopt measures for the protection and well-being of displaced Venezuelan citizens.

“We hope that a climate of peace, freedom, democracy, security and coexistence prevails in Venezuela. We reaffirm our commitment to continue supporting all migrants and displaced persons, who are seeking hope for the future of their families,” the association said.
