And new national blackout woke up Venezuelans on Friday, August 30, but that would only mark the beginning of constant ups and downs of light that would become part of everyday life: eIn September, more than 20 electrical failures were recorded in Venezuela.

In NTA Throughout September, we documented the electrical failures that occurred in Venezuela (and with great frequency in Caracas), recording a total of 27 incidents in this service.

These failures are a problem that has plagued Venezuelans in the interior for years. However, after the blackout, Caracas has not been free from that hardship. Specifically, the people of Caracas woke up again without electricity on Sunday, September 1, the month that He welcomed them in the dark and in silence. It was the Cumbres of Curumo, Santa Mónica, La Boyera, Bello Monte, Las Acacias, El Hatillo, Los Chaguaramos, El Valle and the northern part of Macaracuay that woke up without light.

Through Xusers report almost daily the different electrical failures, the most frequent of them being power outages. These fluctuations seem to have been committed to arriving almost daily after 3:30 in the afternoon. It became a constant in at least 20 states of Venezuela that there was “a downturn” minutes before or after 4 in the afternoon. A problem that even tends to repeat itself more than three times in less than twenty minutes.

This situation worries citizens, since precisely these types of fluctuations are what usually “burn out” electrical devices. The most worrying thing? The authorities do not comment about what is happening or the possible solutions to the constant failures of the electrical service.
